New install of Midiquest 11 Pro X64 on Windows 7, 64 bit. Created two instruments, Kurzweil K2000 and Roland SC88. Generated VST plugins for both after setting up the VST path. Verified the VST path both in Midiquest and in Ableton Live 9 64 bit. Verified that the dlls were created for the instruments in the VST path and at the same location. Opened Ableton and refreshed the VST path. I see the Roland SC88 plugin but I do not see the Kurzweil K2000 plugin. Tried restarting Ableton, no luck.

Reason 9.5 does not support VST3 so those will not show up. It only supports 2.4 64-bit VST. I'm not sure where Melodyne installs on a Mac but on a PC it chooses a non-standard location. Best free vst mac. It installs in the Program Files Common Files VST2 and VST3 locations. It will not find it if you aren't looking or adding to your list. Live scans all available plug-ins and once completed they will show up in Live's browser under the Plug-ins category. If you've installed the plug-in correctly but it's still not appearing in Live, see our dedicated article: VST/AU plug-in doesn't appear in Live. VSTs (DSK Music ones) are not showing up in Ableton Live 9 Suite Hey Everyone! Basically, i downloaded the.dll files of the DSK Overture and Virtuoso VSTs, and placed them in the plugins folder. I had some issues with other plugins when I installed the 64 bit versions cos my new PC is Win 7 64-bit. But once I installed the 32bit versions in the specified VST folder, they worked. The plugins include Arturia, Alchemy, Audio Damage, d16 group, Reaktor and Urs' very nice ACE as well.
